One of the hats that I wear is being my children's homeschooling teacher. This is a task which was guided to my family by the Lord. Okay, so homeschooling is not for everyone. I totally get that. Some days I have to remind myself that this is what the Lord has for us. Having a season of 2 teenagers can be a little taxing at times. The hormones are raging and this mama is trying to keep it all together. I bet some of you who are reading this may understand what I am saying. Don't get me wrong, homeschooling truly is a wonderful blessing from the Lord.
One of the things I have the opportunity to see everyday is the life skills my children are becoming equipped with for their lives as a whole. They will be able to cook from scratch, clean an entire home, do laundry, take care of a little bit of outside property, grow fresh veggies in a garden, and know how to properly care for chickens. Yep, I said chickens. We have a whole bunch of them on our little homestead. Being able to have fresh organic eggs and veggies is a great way to feed our family.
I believe my children will be well equipped for what life is going to bring their way. Knowing that my husband and I have the blessing to walk along side of our kids in this area is wonderful.
What are you doing with your children to impact their lives on a daily basis? I would love to hear what your doing.
